This routine can also be used as a midday break from your computer.
It’s normal to wake up feeling a lack of mobility, flexibility, and energy in your muscles. Most of us wake up our minds with caffeine but skip waking up our bodies, maybe because you don’t have a lot of time. You only need 7-minutes to finish this full-body stretch and activation routine. Your goal for this routine will be to warm up your whole body (spine, hips, glutes, quads, chest, and core), breathe though some balance postures, and engage specific muscle groups for improved posture throughout your day.
Also, if you are trying to build a healthier morning routine, this video is a great place to start. It will only take you 7-minutes to set a focused, productive tone for your day. Incorporating and commiting to a morning yoga practice will improve how your body feels throughout the day AND how your mind feels, as setting an intention and following through with it daily boosts confidence, mood, and personal integrity. Doing what you say you are going to do is a habit, and your morning routine is a fantastic and convenient area to practice and refine this habit.
